EAGLE CREEK GOLF CLUB
NOVEMBER 18-19, 2017
Players from Across Florida Aim for Title
In November 2-man teams from across Florida will descend upon Eagle Creek Golf Club to compete for
the rights to be crowned the FLORIDA 2-MAN GOLF CHAMPIONS. There are two flights for abilities of all
levels. There is a flight for both team members with a handicap below 12, and a flight for both team members
with a handicap of 12 or higher.
With Florida being such a golf-heavy community, we expect the field to fill up quick and
with great teams competing for the top prize; we are limiting the field to only 54 teams.
Round One will be a modified alternate shot where each team member hits a tee ball, then the team members choose the ball to play into the hole and alternates playing that ball into the hole.
Round Two will be a 2-man scramble format. Team members hit their tee balls then each team member plays from the spot of the best shot. This continues throughout the hole until the ball is holed out. On day two, the final round will be played in the morning.
Round Three will be a 2-man best ball. Each team member plays their own ball throughout the round.
A team’s number of strokes for a given hole is that of the lower scoring team member.
The tournament will award team prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers for each round.
The Championship will be determined by the total score of all three Rounds.
*To ensure fair play, we will be running three 2-man teams per hole.
